Donation Guidelines
As much as we would like to say yes to accepting everything, the high cost of disposal prohibits us from doing so. Below are examples of what we can and cannot take. If you would like to make a donation and don't see the item in the list, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page. If we can't take it, we may be able to suggest ways of using for the benefit of the sale!  
  • Books/Magazines (magazines should be no older than 2011 issues) 
  • Music CDs/DVDs/videos
  • Musical Instruments 
  • Clothes (in good condition)
  • Belts/Purses/Wallets/Gloves
  • Shoes/Boots/Sandals
  • Jewelry/Accessories
  • Linens
  • Holiday Decorations/Craft Supplies
  • Pet Supplies
  • Sporting Goods: golf, tennis, baseball, football, hockey, soccer, scuba, lacrosse, skiing, etc.
  • Snowboards/Boots
  • Ski Boots (Xcountry/downhill, please no "vintage")  
  • Camping/Backpacking
  • Fishing
  • Hunting
  • Bicycles
  • Toys/Games/Puzzles(with all pieces)/Little Tykes items 
  • Kitchen Supplies/Dishware
  • Office Supplies
  • Electronics/Stereo Components 
  • Cameras- both still and video, digital and roll film 
  • Computers (Desktops/Laptops/Tablets with Duo Core 2 and above- i3, i5, i7 processors)(Macs w/ OS X) 
  • Computer Accessories (mouse, speakers, cables, docking stations, cable modems, etc.)
  • Computer Software/PC Games/PS2/XBox Units and Games/Wii Stations

  • Large Lawn & Garden Items: mowers, snow-blowers, lawn tractors, edgers, power-washers, etc.
  • Small Lawn & Garden Items: sprinklers, hoses,

  • Plastic Pink Flamingos 
  • Hand Tools (also including screws, nuts, bolts, nails, etc.)
  • Power Tools (working, let's say that again- WORKING saws, drills, air, chainsaws, Sawzall, etc.)
  • Larger Power Tools (table saws, planers, etc.)  
  • Boats*/Jet-Skis*/Canoes/Kayaks/Rowing Shells/Paddle-Boards 
  • Paddles for canoing/kayaking/rowing (oars) 
  • Cars *Please call us first for details on these transactions 
  • Motorcycles **Please call us first for details on these transactions

  • Baby/Infant Items
  • Antiques/Collectibles (please let us know ahead of time what it is so we can fairly treat it and price it accordingly)

  • Exercise Equipment (no exercise bicycles or weight sets please)
  • Automotive Parts and Accessories (no fluids or batteries)
  • Television Sets (manufactured within the last two years) 
  • Small Kitchen Appliances (toaster ovens, mixers, etc.)
  • Kitchen Utensils
  • Bicycles/Scooters/Skateboards
  • Trailers (snow-mobile, utility, boat, etc.)
  • Outboard Motors
  • Equestrian Items
  • Artwork (if framed, glass and frame must be intact) 

 

Items we cannot take: (Again, due to the high cost of disposal, we cannot take items that won't likely sell. If you have an item on this list you would like to donate, please contact us and perhaps we can provide further information on how best to use it to benefit the sale.)

  • Mattresses (unless new and still wrapped in original plastic)
  • Stationary Exercise Bicycles
  • Sleeper Sofas
  • Computer Monitors (with possible exceptions, please contact us for further information)
  • Larger Appliances (i.e. refridgerators, water heaters, etc.) 
  • Construction Materials/Raw Materials (i.e. excess sheet rock, green-treated lumber, glass, etc.)
  • Left-Over Construction Project Items (i.e. old kitchen sinks, range hoods, etc.) 
  • Firearms (we do have an outlet for these should you like to donate them, call 651-442-7226)
  • Live Animals
  • Small Children
  • Tires (unless relatively new and have 90-100% tread life remaining)
  • Automotive Fluids (we may be able to take it if it is new and has not been opened)
  • Household Cleansers (we may be able to take it if it is new and has not been opened)
  • Paint (spray or cans) 
  • Animal Traps (we will accept Havahart traps, but nothing that injures the animal)
  • Any "non-working" item (including parts cars, "project" vehicles, dismantled items, etc.)
  • Items without power-packs (proprietary batteries)
  • Enclyclopedia Sets (older than 2 years)
  • Dot Matrix/Inkjet Printers
  • Popcorn Poppers (or other obsolete appliances)
  • Metal Desks or Filing Cabinets (unless fireproof, then please call us)
  • Storm Doors
  • Window Screens
  • Venetian Blinds
  • Cribs with slats wider than 2-3/8ths inches apart
  • Console TV/Stereo Units
  • Artificial Christmas Trees (unless in perfect condition)
  • VHS players nor VHS tapes
